The Conundrum 16 is a hands-on 16-step MIDI sequencer and controller built for electronic music performance. Whether you're chopping samples in Traktor, sequencing a modular rig, or driving any MIDI gear, Lyrae gives you four independent slots, per-step velocity and note control, swing, and a note repeater — all from a compact, gig-ready layout with 16 backlit step buttons and four assignable control encoders.
Under the hood it runs on an ARM Cortex-M7 at 600 MHz, which means rock-solid timing whether you're syncing to its internal clock or locking to an external source via USB or 5-pin DIN MIDI. A CV/Gate output lets you patch straight into analog and Eurorack gear too. Twenty onboard presets save and recall your patterns instantly, so switching between sets or songs is effortless.
Three switchable interface modes — Traktor, Modular, and Custom — let you tailor the entire control surface to your setup. Pair that with a crisp OLED display, full LED feedback, and a modular open-source firmware, and you've got a sequencer that fits the way you actually play.

Sequence up to four independent tracks simultaneously with per-step velocity, note assignment, swing, and a built-in note repeater.
Instantly switch between Traktor, Modular, and Custom mappings so one device adapts to your DJ software, Eurorack rig, or any MIDI setup.
Connect to virtually anything: computers via USB MIDI, hardware via 5-pin DIN, and analog synths through the dedicated CV/Gate output.
Save and load full sequencer states from EEPROM storage, making set transitions and live improvisation seamless.
